Module Overview The programme has been designed using the materials and resources from the highly qualified Autism Outreach team's extensive experience of training and support work. It is informed by the views of people on the autistic spectrum, working with families in educational settings (including the home!) and in clinical settings. It has been developed in collaboration with people on the autistic spectrum and has used a wide range of professionals, parents and other end users to determine content and the way in which it is presented. This has enabled us to maximise the flexibility of the online experience and provide people who enrol on the module with maximum benefit and a range of learning experiences and access opportunies. All elements of the module can be revisited to gain maximum benefit. Registration and enrolment entitle the person to access the materials and resources for 1 year.

It is suitable for a very wide range of people including professionals who are looking to inform their practice and parents/carers who would like to find out more about the autistic spectrum. One of the key features is that the materials can be revisited and there is a wealth of information sources all in one easy to use online location.
